I Waited for You

Why do you look to others for what you need?

Didn’t I tell you I would supply your every need according to My riches in
Glory?

Didn’t you believe Me?

Then why do you continue to ask them to supply your needs?

You are My righteous one, you don’t have to beg them

The righteous will never be forsaken or have to beg

Yet you go to them, you continue to allow them to use you

They don’t know what you need. I do

What you are needing they can’t supply

Oh they may try, but they will only fail you

They will forsake you

Wait for Me to supply your needs

You’ve come too far to settle for just anything

I only want good and perfect for you

Let Me give you My best

Will you wait for Me?

I waited for you.

Fear Not

Fear not that you might make a mistake in believing your dream.
Fear rather that if you don’t go for it
Your might stand before God and he’ll tell you
you could have succeeded had you had a little more faith.

Fear not that you might fall.
Fear rather that you will never succeed
if you never try and if you are unwilling to take risks.

Fear not that you might get hurt.
Fear rather that you will never grow
if you wait for painless success.

The old man said to the young man,
“Why not go out, on a limb,
After all isn’t that where the fruit is.”

A Little Sparrow

I am only a little sparrow!
A bird of low degree!
My life is of little value.
But the dear Lord cares for me
He gave me a coat of feathers
‘Tis very plain I know:
With never a speck of crimson
For it was not made for show.
But it keeps me warm in winter.
It shields me from the rain.
Were it bordered with gold and purple
Perhaps it would make me vain.

I have no barn or storehouse:
I never sow or reap:
God gives me a sparrow’s portion.
But never a seed to keep.
If my meat is sometimes scanty.
Close picking makes it sweet:
I have always enough to keep me.
And life is more than meat.
I know there are many sparrows:
All over the world they’re found:
But our heavenly Father knows
When one of us falls to the ground.

Though small, we are never forgotten-
Though weak we are never afraid.
For we know that the dear Lord keeps
The lives of the creatures He made.
I fly through the thickest forest,
I light on many a spray.
I have no chart or compass,
But I never lose my way.

Living and Giving

Whatever you give away today, or think or say or do will multiply about tenfold and then return to you.
It may not come immediately, nor from the obvious source but the law applies unfailingly, through some invisible force.

Whatever you feel about another, be it love or hate or passion will surely bounce right back to you in some clear
(or secret) fashion. If you speak about some person, a word of praise or two, soon, tens of other people will speak kind words of you.

Our thoughts are broadcasts of the soul, not secrets of the brain.  Kind ones bring us happiness; petty ones, untold
pain.

Giving works as surely as reflections in a mirror.  If hate you send, hate you’ll get back, but loving brings love nearer.

Remember, as you start this day and duty crowds your mind, that kindness comes so quickly back to those who first are kind.  Let that thought and this one direct us through each day.

The only things we ever keep are the things we give away.

The Cross Room

The young man was at the end of his
rope.
Seeing no way out, he dropped to his
knees in prayer.
“Lord, I can’t go on,” he said.
“I have too heavy a cross to bear.”
The Lord replied,
“My son, if you can’t bear it’s weight,
just place your cross inside this room.
Then open another door and pick any
cross you wish.”
The man was filled with relief.
“Thank you, Lord,”
he sighed, and did as he was told.
As he looked around the room he saw
many different crosses;
Some so large the tops were not visible.
Then he spotted a tiny cross leaning
against a far wall.
“I’d like that one, Lord,”
he whispered.  And the Lord replied,
“My son, that’s the cross you brought in.
